Ragdale Ring
Lake Forest, Illinois 2016 Ragdale is an interdisciplinary artists’ community north of Chicago. Each summer, they host a competition to design and build a temporary outdoor theater to host performances. This proposal enlists the land itself to act as both stage and backdrop.

Purdue University
West Lafayette, Indiana 2005 The University sought an art installation along the edge of a campus greenspace that would “work to complement, not compete with, the campus Quad”. I proposed an earthwork installation that used the existing natural elements of the site to create a sculpture that could be inhabited by the students.

Evanston, Illinois 2016 This single family home, built in 1892, was later designated a historic landmark by the City of Evanston. The challenge was to create a contemporary space while maintaining the character of the original.
