Los Angeles, California 2007
The Citizens Committee to Save Elysian Park sought proposals to design five gateways into this major Los Angeles park. I proposed a series of undulating earthen sculptures to mark the entrances. The ground would swell and surge, recalling the power of the nearby Pacific. This proposal was selected as a finalist.
